How do I know which option is right for me?

If you sleep warm or live in a temperate climate, the 200gsm wool duvet inner is usually ideal. The 350gsm Cloud Cover suits colder sleepers, spring and autumn months, or anyone who enjoys extra comfort and weight. When combined together, the 200gsm duvet inner and 350gsm Cloud Cover create a 550gsm sleep system, suitable for winter months or anyone who enjoys extra warmth.

Is TEMARINO stocked in stores or just online?

We’re currently online-only. This allows us to keep quality high, prices fair, and ship directly from our New Zealand warehouse.

Do you work with interior designers or hotels?

Yes, we love collaborating. If you’re designing a space or sourcing for accommodation, please get in touch.

2. Product Questions

What types of bedding does TEMARINO offer?

We create a full range of natural wool bedding, including the 350gsm Cloud Cover encased in 500 thread count cotton, the 200gsm wool duvet inner encased in 500 thread count cotton, a 1000gsm pure wool underlay, a 200gsm washable mattress protector, and pure wool pillows filled with wool knops. We also offer curated combos to help you build your ideal sleep system.

What makes the Cloud Cover different from a duvet cover?

The 350gsm Cloud Cover is more than a standard cover. It’s quilted and lightly filled to add structure and softness, and designed to work with our duvet inner as part of a breathable, layered sleep system.

What's the difference between the mattress protector and the underlay?

The 200gsm washable mattress protector is encased in 500 thread count pure cotton and offers protection with a breathable wool layer beneath your bottom sheet. The 1000gsm wool underlay is encased in 500 thread count cotton and provides luxurious cushioning.

Do you offer any bundle deals or combos?

Yes. Our recommended combos pair products like the 200gsm wool duvet inner with the 350gsm Cloud Cover, or the 1000gsm wool underlay with the 200gsm mattress protector, making it easy to build a complete natural sleep system.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin or babies?

Yes. Wool is naturally low in allergens, free from harsh chemicals, and gentle enough for the whole family.

Do you sell pillows?

Yes. Our pillows include 200gsm quilted pure wool encased in 500 thread count cotton and are filled with pure wool knops. We also provide additional wool knops so you can customise your pillow to your personal preference.

Why is everything made in New Zealand?

We believe in supporting local communities, reducing transport emissions, and staying close to our raw materials. Our wool is grown, washed, quilted, and stitched entirely within Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Is wool really better than synthetic alternatives?

Yes. Wool breathes, regulates temperature, and lasts longer. Synthetic fibres tend to trap moisture, overheat, and break down more quickly.

3. Sleep & Comfort

How does wool bedding help me sleep better?

Wool naturally regulates temperature and wicks moisture, helping your body stay balanced through the night. This reduces temperature fluctuations and supports deeper sleep.

What is the best setup for year-round comfort?

We recommend the 200gsm wool duvet inner for warmer months, the 350gsm Cloud Cover for mid seasons, and combining both for colder months. Our 1000gsm wool underlay adds luxurious comfort and can be paired with the 200gsm mattress protector for all-season use.

Can I use the Cloud Cover without a duvet inner?

Yes. Many customers use the 350gsm Cloud Cover on its own as a light, breathable layer.

Is wool good for people who sleep hot or experience night sweats?

Yes. Wool draws moisture away from the body and allows airflow, helping prevent overheating.

Is wool suitable for cold climates?

Absolutely. The 350gsm Cloud Cover and 1000gsm wool underlay provide excellent insulation without feeling heavy. When it gets really cold, you can combine the 200gsm wool duvet inner with the 350gsm Cloud Cover.

Do your products make noise when I move in bed?

No. Our materials are soft and silent, with no rustling or crinkling.

Is TEMARINO bedding suitable for people with allergies?

Yes. Wool naturally resists dust mites, mould, and mildew, making it a great option for allergy sufferers and sensitive skin.

Is this good for menopause or hot flashes?

Yes. Many customers experiencing hormonal temperature changes find our breathable, moisture-regulating bedding helpful.

What does it feel like to sleep under TEMARINO products?

Customers often describe it as cocoon-like, light yet warm, breathable, and deeply comforting.

4. Sizing & Fit

What size bedding should I order for my bed?

We follow standard New Zealand sizes from Single through to California King.

Do your sizes work for international mattresses (like IKEA)?

We recommend comparing the measurements on our size guide with your current bedding to confirm fit.

Do your underlays and protectors fit deep mattresses?

Yes. They feature elasticated skirts designed to fit most modern deep mattresses securely.

Can I request a custom size?

Yes. Custom sizes may be available on request. Please contact us with the size you are after, and we’ll let you know what options are available.

5. Care & Cleaning

How do I clean my TEMARINO wool duvet inner?

Can I clean the 350gsm Cloud Cover at home?

Dry cleaning is recommended. You can also air it outside to freshen it up. Avoid washing unless necessary.

Is the 200gsm mattress protector machine-washable?

Yes, it may be gently machine-washed on a wool cycle at your own risk. Always air dry flat and avoid tumble drying. However, we always recommend dry cleaning.
